PRIVATE CLIENTS · 02 · INVESTOR CITIZENSHIP

An additional citizenship needs a function—not merely a program.

We assess the specific freedom an additional passport must create, whether the family is eligible and document-ready, and which program can serve that function at an acceptable level of risk.

CBI does not automatically change tax residence, bankability, or source-of-wealth history. Mobility utility, programs, and political acceptance can change; approvals rest solely with competent states.

DIRECT ANSWER

What is CBI advisory—and what is it not?

CBI advisory connects a defined strategic function with eligibility, due-diligence readiness, family scope, actual total cost, and program durability. It replaces neither the authorized agent nor legal or tax advice and does not treat a passport as an isolated financial product.

01

Permanent service

Defines the selection standard, review process, and controlled implementation.

02

Program hub

Organizes active, reviewed, and held CBI routes.

03

Decision Files

Assess a specific government program using time-bound evidence.

WHEN THIS WORK BECOMES RELEVANT

A status problem rarely begins with a single application.

The right starting point is the decision context: what is changing across life, family, business, or wealth—and which rights must support that change?

FAMILY CONTINUITY01

An additional status should support several generations.

Inclusion, transmission, registration, and retention rules are reviewed person by person.

MOBILITY02

Specific countries or regions must remain accessible.

Relevant destinations matter more than rapidly outdated visa-free country counts.

BACKUP STATUS03

Optionality should not depend on an employer or individual visa.

Legal effect is weighed against political, reputational, and practical utility risk.

DECISION ARCHITECTURE

Five review fields make assumptions, dependencies, and specialist questions visible.

The outcome is not a country ranking. It is a defensible brief that allows qualified advisers to review the right questions against a complete fact pattern.

CONTROLLED SEQUENCE

Function and facts first; country, program, and implementation follow.

The sequence protects against an early product decision that later fails because of tax status, presence, family, banking, or evidence.

  1. 01

    Define the function

Specific destinations, family effect, and strategic utility.

  2. 02

    Test due-diligence readiness

Biography, nationalities, source of wealth, and documents before provider commitment.

  3. 03

    Compare programs

Only verified routes are compared for function, cost, and durability.

  4. 04

    Validate independently

Legal, tax, and sanctions questions are assigned to the relevant professionals.

  5. 05

    Implement under control

Authorized agent, payments, documents, government process, and disclosures remain transparent.

WORK PRODUCT

What should be decision-ready at the end.

Scope and depth depend on the engagement. These outputs form the controlled core of the work.

01

CBI Decision File

Function, assumptions, exclusions, shortlist, and reasoned selection.

02

Due-diligence readiness

Document and red-flag map before filing and committing capital.

03

Actual total cost

Contribution or asset, government, due diligence, agent, documents, and third parties separated.

04

Role and implementation plan

Who advises, files, decides, pays, and documents—and in what sequence.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITY

Strategic coordination does not replace regulated professional advice.

Each conclusion remains assigned to the party professionally and legally responsible for it.

NO BORDERS FOUNDER

Client-side decision

Tests strategic function, compares programs, and controls roles, costs, and dependencies.

AUTHORIZED AGENTS & ADVISERS

Filing & professional opinion

Agents file; qualified legal and tax advisers confirm their respective questions.

STATE

Due diligence & decision

The competent government alone reviews and decides citizenship.

No approval, timing, or mobility guarantee. Compensation and third-party fees are disclosed separately before a decision.

PRIMARY SOURCES & REVIEW STANDARD

Legal effect is checked against competent authorities—not sales claims.

Sources reviewed September 15, 2026. Specific rules are reverified with authorities and qualified advisers before a decision.

FAQ

Common questions before the first decision.

Does a second passport change my tax residence?

Not automatically. Tax residence follows its own facts and rules and is treated as a separate professional interface.

Does CBI guarantee visa-free travel?

No. Visa waivers can change and should be tested against destinations that matter, not headline country counts.

Is the minimum investment enough for cost comparison?

No. Government fees, due diligence, family, agent, documents, advisers, financing, holding duties, and opportunity cost belong in the total.

Does NBF file the application?

No. Where an authorized agent is required, that agent files. NBF leads client-side selection and coordination.

Is CBI always faster than naturalization by residence?

The legal pathways are fundamentally different. Speed alone says nothing about fit, utility, durability, or risk.

FUNCTION BEFORE PROGRAM

What specific freedom should the additional citizenship create?

Once the function is defined, we assess engagement fit, due-diligence readiness, and a defensible shortlist.
