Use, protection, return, diversification, succession, or liquidity must be prioritized explicitly.
DECISION CONTEXT 05 · STRUCTURE WEALTH INTERNATIONALLY
An asset is not a strategy.
What matters is whether ownership, access, and exit allow an asset to serve its purpose across borders. We examine the role property, physical precious metals, and custody arrangements should play in your overall wealth structure—and whether the relevant counterparties and jurisdictions support that role. Depending on the scope, the result is a documented decision record and a clear sequence of next steps.
Eight structured questions—initially without documents or contact details. The results indicate which engagement may fit in principle. This is not professional advice, and submitting the questionnaire does not create an engagement.

01 · WHEN THIS DECISION ARISES
Diversification fails when different assets share the same dependencies.
A portfolio may look broad by asset class while remaining concentrated through ownership, access, counterparties, or exit. The right decision therefore starts with function—not the next product.

- 01
Property across several markets
You own or are considering property internationally, but the role of each asset in the overall wealth structure remains unclear.
- 02
Physical precious metals
Seller, ownership, custody, delivery, and exit have not yet been reviewed as one contractual and operational chain.
- 03
Distributed assets, shared dependencies
Assets sit in several countries but still depend on the same people, banks, custodians, or access routes.
- 04
A significant cross-border transaction
Tax, banking, KYC, ownership, and custody have not yet been addressed in a clear, supportable order.

02 · WEALTH ARCHITECTURE
Six questions before a real asset earns its place.
What matters is not only what you own, but what it must do and the conditions under which that function remains available.
Choose an axis to examine the associated review details.
What job should the asset perform in the overall wealth structure?
Use, protection, return, diversification, succession, or liquidity must be prioritized explicitly.
Who owns the asset legally and beneficially—and who controls it?
The review separates legal ownership, powers of attorney, beneficial ownership, and contractual rights.
When and through which route is the value actually available?
Approvals, currency, timing, cost, and potential delivery determine practical control.
Who sells, advises, introduces, provides custody, verifies, or executes?
Roles, compensation, concentration, and potential conflicts belong in the same picture.
Which legal systems and reporting paths interact?
Residence, owner, contract, recognition, and local professional review are not considered in isolation.
How long should the function last, and what brings it to an end?
Sale, succession, financing, transfer, and realization routes are tested before capital is committed.

Parallel purchases become a controlled sequence.

04 · FIT | NO FIT
A fit when real assets need a clear role in the overall wealth structure.
A strong fit when …
- several jurisdictions, ownership forms, counterparties, or advisors are involved
- a decision would be difficult or expensive to reverse
- overall function and sequence must be resolved before a transaction
- you want decision leadership before product selection
Not the right model when …
- you are looking only for one product or a named provider
- you expect short-term performance calls or market timing
- you want guaranteed returns or a regulatory shortcut
- you want validation of a predetermined answer

06 · ENGAGEMENT SCOPE
The more interconnected the decision, the deeper the engagement.
The exact scope, outputs, and exclusions are agreed in writing before the engagement begins. Implementation starts only after the proposed direction has been documented and approved.

07 · ONCE THE DIRECTION IS CLEAR
One decision connects the work. Each specialist remains responsible for their own work.
These three paths deepen a question that has already been framed. They do not replace the prior decision on function and sequence.

What to know before the engagement fit review.
When is this kind of wealth review useful?
When several jurisdictions, ownership forms, counterparties, professional disciplines, or difficult-to-reverse transactions interact. This decision frame is generally unnecessary for a standalone product or price inquiry.
What do I receive after the analysis?
The output depends on the agreed scope of the engagement. It may range from a concise decision memo to an integrated decision architecture with a comparison matrix, ownership and access map, and implementation sequence. Scope and exclusions are agreed in writing before the engagement begins.
Is this investment, legal, or tax advice?
No Borders Founder structures the overall decision, documents dependencies, and coordinates the agreed interfaces. Legal, tax, investment-related, or other regulated conclusions are provided, where required, by appropriately authorized professionals within their own areas of responsibility.
How are existing advisors involved?
Existing legal, tax, family-office, or specialist advisors can be brought in to address the specific questions that require their expertise. The purpose is not to displace working relationships, but to align their contributions around one decision and sequence.
How are providers, custodians, and potential conflicts reviewed?
Roles, contracting parties, compensation, authorization status, ownership and access routes, and the relevant comparison criteria are documented. Any conclusion depends on the provider, contract, jurisdiction, and current evidence.
What happens after the engagement-fit review?
You provide the reason for the decision, the relevant countries and asset classes, and information about existing advisors. We then determine whether a focused review is sufficient, a Cross-Border Decision Blueprint is needed, or another specialist review should come first. Only then do we propose an appropriate engagement.
YOUR NEXT STEP
Clarify the function. Then choose the next step.
Eight structured questions help identify, without documents or contact details, which engagement may fit in principle. A personal review follows only if you request it. Scope, outputs, fees, and responsibilities are agreed in writing before work begins; submitting the questionnaire does not create an engagement or initiate a product introduction.
